But what do you do all day?
A day in the life of an English Student at the University of Wales, Bangor is presented as a series of 6 short video clips. What do you do all day? tries to demystify the undergraduate experience to give potential students of English a better idea of what day-to-day life might be like. The viewer shadows a “real” undergraduate through different aspects of his day.
The experience of mature students
These two short videos give the experiences of two students who completed the BA (Hons) English: Communications at Work programme at Blackpool & The Fylde College. Both enrolled on the Foundation Degree: Communications at Work, fitting in their studies on one afternoon and evening at college every week, while working the rest of the time. Both proved to be excellent students, and after two years on the Foundation Degree there was no hesitation in recommending that they progress to the third year ‘top-up’ to make their FD into a BA (Hons). These are their stories.
